Since I walked into the Pink Gallery clutching unframed paintings which Carol Foubister bravely took from me to hang in the gallery we have not looked back . The work has gone far and wide, from England to Spain and all the way to Australia, Greece, and Hong Kong and of course many homes and businesses across Scotland.
With successful solo shows and work travelling across the globe means I am working constantly to keep pace with the demand for new work.
I have always been enthusiastic about experimenting with different mediums, creating images rather than just representing what I see, even though realism was a starting point. I believe you have to evolve as a painter otherwise you stagnate. The never ending quest to improve and to
capture something more on canvas than a pleasing scene is the powerful driving force that keeps my work evolving.
